Overnight Science Camp

The Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy is your overnight adventure destination for science and outdoor education on Catalina Island! Our coastal location is surrounded by a pristine Marine Protected Area and students explore the land and sea guided by our Resident Naturalists. We offer curriculum focused on marine and earth sciences, character development, teambuilding, and outdoor skills while incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the core competencies of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). We offer 3, 4, and 5-day long programs for students in 5th through 12th grades. Students that visit Emerald Bay are never ready to go home!
