Naturalist Residencies
Living and working on Catalina Island is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Our Resident Naturalists bring the curriculum to life with their passion to inspire and a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines. The Naturalist Residency is a paid seasonal position lasting between 9 and 13 weeks with training and development provided and the option to specialize roles through lifeguarding, business and retail experience, bilingual teaching, archery range master, or research. Many of our Naturalists continue their professional journeys after Emerald Bay with educator positions, graduate and post-graduate studies, and innovative research all around the globe.
